Bulldogs Battle but Lose to #1 Curie in Sectional Semis
The Bulldogs (28-5, 11-1) dropped the final game of the season 62-53 to #1 Curie. The Dogs once again showed how much fight they have as they battled back from 18 down at half to cut the lead to 8 at one point by outscoring Curie 33-24 in the 2nd half. Patrick Hanley led the Dogs in scoring with 17pts on 3-5 from 3pt. Charles Terry finished with a double-double putting up 11pts and 10 rebounds. Andrew Veon battled inside to finish with 9pts and 9 rebounds. Reggie Loury contributed 9pts while playing great defense. Zach Vaia dealt with double teams and pressure all night and finished with 7 points. 

Bulldogs Win Regional Championship over #9 Lincoln Park!!!
The Bulldogs (28-4, 11-1) capture their first Regional Championship title since 2015 with a huge 69-60 comeback victory of #9 ranked Lincoln Park. The Dogs trailed by 12 at half but surged in the 3rd quarter to take a 1 point lead entering the 4th quarter and were able to stretch that to seal the win. The back and forth contest was witnessed by a huge Bulldog contingency who stormed the court after the victory. The Dogs again got contributions from multiple players. Four were in double figure scoring: Zach Vaia 25pts, Charles Terry 12pts, Patrick Hanley 10, & Andrew Veon 10. The Bulldogs move on to face #1 ranked Curie in the Proviso West Sectional Semi-Final this Tuesday.

Bulldogs Advance to Regional Final with Win Over Morton!!!
The Bulldogs (27-4, 11-1) beat Morton 59-52 at Morton in their 1st round of the IHSA playoffs. The back and forth game saw the Dogs use a 23 point 2nd quarter to take the lead at the half, but Morton hung tough and was able to regain the lead during the 3rd quarter. Clutch threes by Reggie Loury and Zach Vaia down the stretch sealed the victory for the Dogs. Four starters were in double figures: Charles Terry 16pts (11rebs), Zach Vaia 15pts (8rebs, 6 asst), Andrew Veon 13pts (9rebs), and Reggie Loury 12pts (6rebs). The Bulldogs will play for the Regional Championship against Lincoln Park this Friday night at 7pm at Morton East High School.

Bulldogs Close out the Season with 13 Straight Victories with Win at Ridgewood!
The Bulldogs (26-4, 11-1) beat Ridgewood 82-54 to closeout regular season play with 13 straight victories. All 5 starters were in double figure scoring for the night: Andrew Veon 21pts, Zach Vaia 16, Patrick Hanley 15, Charles Terry 12 & Reggie Loury 11. It was a night of milestones as well. The Bulldogs collect their 26th victory which sets the school record for most wins in a season​. Zach Vaia also becomes only the 13th Bulldog in history to top the 1,000 point mark. The state playoff run begins Wednesday February 27th at Morton.

Bulldogs Beat De LaSalle for 12th Straight Win!
The Bulldogs (25-4, 11-1) beat De LaSalle 82-67 at Evergreen Park High School to collect their 25th win of the season and 12th straight victory. The Dogs got 30 points off the bench and assisted on 21 of 28 field goals in the game. Patrick Hanley led the Dogs with 17pts (5-11 3pt) while Zach Vaia (5-12 3pt) had 16pts and 7 assists. Sam Grivetti and Ryan Cermak had big contributions off the bench with 16pts and 14pts respectively. The 25th win ties the school record for most wins in a single season at RB. The Bulldogs look to top that record and end the regular season with a W at Ridgewood on Tuesday night.

Bulldogs Win Metro Suburban Conference with Victory Over Aurora Christian!!!
The Bulldogs (24-4, 11-1) take home the Metro Suburban title with a revenge victory over Aurora Christian 51-47. The Dogs only conference loss was in an overtime contest to Aurora Christian earlier this year. On Senior Night, the Bulldogs closed out conference play with a hard-fought victory - making it 11 wins in a row. Every senior scored - Andrew Veon had 13 points & 11 rebounds. Zach Vaia also had 13 points with 4 assists and 3 steals. Patrick Hanley hit three 3's to finish with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Reggie Loury, Charles Terry and Ryan Cermak each had 4 points apiece and played terrific defense. Sam Grivetti gave efficient minutes off the bench with a bucket and drew a huge charge. The Dogs take on De LaSalle this Sunday at Evergreen Park High School.

Dogs Win 10th Straight With Win Over ACC
The Bulldogs (23-4, 10-1) beat ACC 61-29 to win their 10th straight. The Dogs outscored the Chargers 35-11 in the second half to seal the win. Andrew Veon led the Bulldogs with and efficient 21 points on 9-12 from the floor. Ten Bulldogs in all ended up with a basket. The Dogs now focus their attention to this Friday's rematch with Aurora Christian to decide the conference title on Senior Night. Please come out and support the Bulldogs as we will honor the seniors in their last home game of their careers. 

Make it 9 In A Row as Bulldogs Beat St. Francis
The Bulldogs (22-4, 9-1) blew past St. Francis 66-46 to win their 9th straight. The Dogs got it done on both ends of the court and led by as many as 36 in the game before giving the starters an early exit. Andrew Veon led the Bulldogs with 15pts and 9 rebounds. Patrick Hanley was also in double figures with 14 points. Nine different Bulldogs scored in total. The guys are back at it Tuesday in Aurora against ACC.

It's 8 In A Row as Dogs Beat Oak Lawn
The Bulldogs (21-4, 8-1) beat Oak Lawn 70-48 to grab their 8th win in a row. Another big defensive 3rd quarter saw the Dogs hold OL to only 4 points as they were able to put them away. Bulldogs yet again have 4 different players in double figure scoring. Zach Vaia led the way with 20 points and 5 assists. Andrew Veon notched a double-double with 12 points & 12 rebounds as Patrick Hanley added 12 of his own. Charles Terry contributed 11 points as well. The Bulldogs are back to conference play this Friday night at home against St. Francis of Wheaton.

Bulldogs Drop Fenwick, Win 7th Straight
The Bulldogs (20-4, 8-1) picked up their 20th win of the season by beating Fenwick 64-61. The Dogs used a 27 point 2nd quarter to grab a lead and were able to hold on down the stretch. Another balanced scoring attack as Zach Vaia and Patrick Hanley led the way with 17 points each. Reggie Loury had 13 points including a huge 3 pointer with a minute to go. Andrew Veon also contributed with 11 points. The Bulldogs go to Oak Lawn High School on Tuesday looking for their 8th straight.

Bulldogs Make It 6 In a Row
The Bulldogs (19-4, 8-1) toughed out a conference victory with a strong 4th quarter performance to beat IC 57-29. The Dogs picked up the defense intensity in the 4th against the Knights and outscored them 20-0 in the 4th on the way to their 6th straight victory. A balance scoring attack had 4 Bulldogs in double figure scoring: Charles Terry (12), Patrick Hanley (11), Zach Vaia (11), Andrew Veon (11). The Dogs are back at it tonight at Fenwick. 

Bulldogs Beat Hinsdale South to Win 5th Straight
The Bulldogs (18-4, 7-1) hit 15 three pointers on Tuesday to beat Hinsdale South 72-54. A great all around effort from Charles Terry lead the way as he had 10pts, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and played great defense. Patrick Hanley lead the way for the scorers with 22 points (3-5 3pt). Zach Vaia hit 6 of the team's 15 threes to finish with 18 points. The Dogs are back to conference play Friday at IC.

Bulldogs Defeat Chicago Christian
The Bulldogs (17-4, 7-1) shot 50% from 3pt. range to beat Chicago Christian 69-52 on Friday night. Zach Vaia led the Dogs with 20 points (4-8 3pt) 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Reggie Loury hit 5 3s of his own and grabbed a game high 10 rebounds. Charles Terry was also in double figures with 18 points. The Bulldogs will play Hinsdale South on Tuesday.

Bulldogs Beat Marshall in OT
The Bulldogs (16-4, 6-1) get an OT win 72-66 in the MLK Dream Classic against host school Marshall. Patrick Hanley led all scorers with 23pts hitting on 7 of 16 3 pointers. Zach Vaia (16pts), Charles Terry (12pts) and Andrew Veon (12pts) were also in double figures. The Dogs have a big conference game again Chicago Christian this Friday at home. 

Bulldogs Cruise Past Bishop Mac
The Bulldogs (15-4, 6-1) tallied their 15th victory of the season with a 78-34 victory over Bishop Mac. 12 different Dogs scored in the game, led by Patrick Hanley with 20pts (3-6 3pt). Zach Vaia added 11pts 8 assists and 4 steals. Andrew Veon (8pts, 14 rebs) and Charles Terry (10pts, 8 rebs) owned the glass. The Bulldogs are back in action Sunday as they hit the road to take on Marshall in the MLK Dream Classic at Marshall.

Bulldogs Use Big 2nd Half to Put Away St. Francis
The Bulldogs (14-4, 5-1) got off to a slow start against St. Francis - Wheaton and trailed by 1 point at the half. They out scored the Spartans by 16 in the 2nd half to win 77-62. Patrick Hanley fueled the offense finishing with 28 points. Zach Vaia (18pts) and Reggie Loury (10pts) also helped the Dogs on the offensive end. Andrew Veon added 9pts and 14 rebounds.

Bulldogs Can't Hang on Against Aurora Christian
The Bulldogs (13-4, 4-1) couldn't hang to a late 6 point lead and ended up losing a tough conference game 79-70 in OT to Aurora Christian. Andrew Veon led the Dogs with 22 points and 14 rebounds on an efficient 11/12 from the field. Patrick Hanley and Zach Vaia had 18 points and 12 points respectively. The Bulldogs are back in action Tuesday against St. Francis Wheaton. 

Bulldogs Defeat Brother Rice
The Bulldogs (13-3) beat the Crusaders 71-66 in a seesaw game that had both teams up to 9 points leads at some point throughout the contest. A balanced scoring attack saw all 5 of the Bulldog starters in double figures. Reggie Loury led the way with 20pts (6-7 3pt). Andrew Veon had another solid game finishing with 14pts, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Zach Vaia filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Charles Terry and Vaia both hit crucial free throws down the stretch to seal the win for the Dogs. Bulldogs are back to conference play with a road test at Aurora Christian this Friday night. 

Bulldogs Beat Wheaton North in Jack Tosh Holiday Classic
The Bulldogs (12-3) beat Wheaton North 65-47 behind a terrific all-around game by Charles Terry. Terry played tremendous defense and also had 19 points and 10 rebounds. Three other Bulldogs were in double figures: Patrick Hanley 16, Zach Vaia 11, and Andrew Veon 10. The Bulldogs are off until they square off against Brother Rice at home on Tuesday January 8th.

Bulldogs Drop LT Rematch in Jack Tosh Holiday Classic
The Bulldogs (11-3) couldn't pull off a season sweep of LT as they lost 70-62 to the Lyons in the quarterfinals of the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic. The Dogs had 4 players in double figure scoring: Zach Vaia 17, Andrew Veon 16, Charles Terry & Reggie Loury 12 each. The Bulldogs will play their final game of the Classic on Saturday at 5pm again Wheaton North. 

Bulldogs Advance to Final 8 in Jack Tosh Holiday Classic
The Bulldogs (11-2) beat Naperville North 62-57 to advance to the quarterfinal round in the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic. Andrew Veon led the Bulldogs with 24 points (5-8 3pt, 6 rebounds). Patrick Hanley bounced back from a cold first half to finish with 22 points (6-12 3pt). Zach Vaia added 12 points and dished out 9 assists. Bulldogs will face off with LT in the quarterfinal round Friday night at York.

Bulldogs Win in Round 1 of Jack Tosh Holiday Classic
The Bulldogs beat McHenry 64-36 to advance to the 2nd round of the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic at York. Zach Vaia and Andrew Veon both has 17 points to lead the Bulldogs offensive attack. Charles Terry was also in double figures with 10 points. Bulldogs will take on Naperville North on Thursday at 4:30pm. 

Bulldogs Lose to Richards
The Bulldogs (9-2, 4-0) lost to Richards 73-59. Zach Vaia led the Dogs with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Patrick Hanley added 13 points and Andrew Veon had 10. The Bulldogs have a week off before beginning play in the Jack Tosh Holiday Tournament next Wednesday against McHenry at York.

Bulldogs Defeat ICCP
The Bulldogs (9-1, 4-0) stayed perfect in the division with a 71-30 win over ICCP. Patrick Hanley led the Dogs with 22pts (6-8 3pt). Zach Vaia added 5 3-pointers of his own to finish with 17pts & 7 assists. Andrew Veon was also in double figure scoring with 11 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.

Bulldogs Lose to Farragut in Team Rose Shootout Win
The Bulldogs (8-1, 3-0) couldn't hang on to a halftime lead and lost 54-44 to ranked Farragut. Reggie Loury led the Dogs with 15pts (5-8 3pt) and 6 rebounds. Andrew Veon added 11pts and 11 rebounds with Zach Vaia contributing 10 points. Bulldogs look ahead to a conference match up with IC this coming Friday.

Bulldogs Win First Road Test Against Chicago Christian
The Bulldogs (8-0, 3-0) used a balanced scoring attack to beat Chicago Christian 59-46 to win their 8th straight game. Four Bulldogs were in double figures: Andrew Veon (17), Zach Vaia (11), Patrick Hanley (11), and Charles Terry (10). The Dogs face off with ranked Farragut Saturday, 12:30 at Mount Carmel High in the Team Rose Shootout. 

Bulldogs Pick Up W vs ACC to Move to 7-0
The Bulldogs (7-0, 2-0) continue their excellent start to the season by beating ACC 76-58 to move to 7-0 on the year and 2-0 in the conference. Bulldogs were led by Zach Vaia with 19pts (5-8 3pt) 6 assists and 4 steal. Andrew Veon and Patrick Hanley were also in double figures with 14 and 13 respectively. The Dogs have their first conference road test this Friday at Chicago Christian.

Bulldogs Beat LT to Start 6-0!
The Bulldogs (6-0, 1-0) proved to have too many weapons on Friday night as they topped crosstown foe LT 72-52 to win their 6th straight game to open the season. Ryan Cermak ignited the Dogs in the 1st quarter by draining three 3 pointers and finishing a perfect 4-4 for the game behind the arc. Charles Terry's (9pts, 8rbs) defensive intensity and activity on the offensive glass added to fire. Andrew Veon filled up the stat sheet posting 20pts, 8rbs & 4 assists. Patrick Hanley added 17pts (5-7 3pt). The Bulldogs have another busy week ahead as they play host to ACC on Tuesday, head out to Chicago Christian Friday, and take on a top 20 team in Farragut on Saturday at 12:30pm at Mount Carmel High School.

Bulldogs Top Bishop Mac for 5th Straight!
The Bulldogs (5-0, 1-0) win their opening conference game 77-45 over Bishop Mac. A solid team defensive performance had the Bulldogs come away with 14 steals in the game. Zach Vaia led the Dogs with an efficient 21pt (7-11 FGs, 5-9 3pt) performance. Reggie Loury (13pts, 6rbs) and Andrew Veon (12pts, 7rbs) also contributed to the victory. Bulldogs take on crosstown rival LT at RB on Saturday at 5:30pm.   

Bulldogs Win VandeMerkt Thanksgiving Classic Championship!!
The Bulldogs (4-0) beat Kenwood 72-49 to win the 2018 VandeMerkt Thanksgiving Classic. The Dogs shot 14-27 from 3pt range and played great team defense to come out on top. The team had 4 players in double figure scoring with Patrick Hanley leading the way with 25pts (7-11 3pts). Andrew Veon (13pts), Zach Vaia (12pts) and Charles Terry (10pts) also contributed on the offensive end. The Bulldogs are off until the weekend home stand when they take on Bishop Mac Friday and LT on Saturday.  

Bulldogs Topple #10 OPRF to Get to VandeMerkt Thanksgiving Classic Championship!!
The Bulldogs (3-0) used an all-around team effort to defeat #10 OPRF 70-50 to come out on top of their pool and earn a chance to play for the championship of the VandeMerkt Thanksgiving Classic. The Dogs out rebounded the Huskies 39-20 as a team and shot 69% from 3pt range. The defense held the Huskies to 1-16 from 3pt range and 40% overall from the field. Andrew Veon had a double-double with 21pts, 11rbs and 4 assists. Zach Vaia finished with 14pts (4-5 3pt), 6 assists and 4 steals. Charles Terry was also in double figures with 11pts & 8rbs. The Bulldogs will play Kenwood for the championship on Saturday at 5pm at RB.

Bulldogs Drop Morton to Start 2-0 in VandeMerkt Thanksgiving Classic!!  
The Bulldogs (2-0) topped Morton 69-63 in a hard-fought battle to get their second win to start the season. Zach Vaia led the Bulldogs with 31pts (4-8 3pt, 7-7 FT) and 7 assists. Andrew Veon was active on the offensive and defensive end finishing with 17pts, 7rbs and 3 blocks. Ryan Cermak drew 3 charges that ignited the Bulldogs. The Dogs square up with OPRF Friday night at 5:00pm.​
   
Bulldogs Open VandeMerkt Thanksgiving Classic with a Win!!
Bulldogs start the season 1-0 as they beat Rich East 61-32 in their opening game of the VandeMerkt Classic. The Bulldogs jumped out to a fast start to begin the 2018-19 season as they opened up a 25-5 first quarter lead over Rich East and never looked back. Reggie Loury led the Bulldogs with 14pts going 3-3 from 3pt range. Sam Grivetti contributed with efficient minutes off the bench finishing with 10pts. Ryan Cermak added 9 rebounds while Andrew Veon also contributed by grabbing a game high 11 rebounds. Bulldogs will face Morton (0-1) on Wednesday in a 7:30 tip.  

Successful Summer for the Bulldogs:
The Varsity Bulldogs had a solid summer, participating in numerous different events, including:  Addison Trail High School Shootout, Hoop Mountain Shootout at Batavia High School, Maine East Shootout, and the prestigious Morris Shootout at the end of June.  The Riverside Brookfield Summer Shootout, the first weekend of June, and the RB Summer League on Monday and Wednesday Nights are two more events the Bulldogs hosted and participated in.  Last, the Bulldogs participated in two college team camps at Marquette University and Bradley University.  The Bulldogs finished 27-16 on the summer and it was a great way to blend the returning seniors with the upcoming juniors together.  The basketball program has a lot of optimism looking toward the start of the season in November!
