Wheaton Academy
The Sophomores beat Wheaton Academy 45-40.  Luke Gentile, Daniel Sessler, and Dylan Meehan each scored 9 point for the Dogs.  Ryan Gaynor and Jamir Truman each scored 6.   The win gave the team a final record of 21-3 (11-1) and a MSC Conference Championship.   The Bulldogs finished the season with 15 straight wins and they also won the St. Laurence Christmas Tournament.  ​

ACC
The sophomores overcame a poor shooting night by making 18 of 22 free-throws in a 42-29 win over ACC.  Dylan Meehan led the team with 12 points and 5 rebounds.  Ryan Gaynor scored 9 points.   Daniel Sessler scored 7 points and pulled down 6 rebounds.

Glenbard South
The Sophomores avenged their only conference loss and beat Glenbard South 56-37.   The Bulldogs shot 58% from the floor and held the Raiders to 28% shooting.   Jack Stivers led the Dogs in scoring with 20 points.  Dylan Meehan had a terrific game with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals and 3 blocks.   Daniel Sessler scored 11 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists.   Jordan Chapp contributed 8 points and 5 assists.  

Fenton
The Sophomores easily beat Fenton 44-24.   Ryan Gaynor led the team with 11 points.  Jack Stivers scored 10 and Liam Corbisiero added 9.  ​
Fenwick
The sophomores won their 11th straight game by beating Fenwick 43-37.   Ryan Gaynor led the team with 18 points.  Dan Sessler and Dylan Meehan each had 8 points.  Jack Stivers led the team with 6 rebounds.

​Illiana Christian
The Sophomores played another great defensive game and beat Illiana Christian 47-28.  Jack Stivers scored 13 to lead the team.  Luke Gentile scored 8 points to go along with 8 assists.  Ryan Gaynor, Jordan Chapp, and Dylan Meehan each added 6 points.  

IC Prep
The sophomore were down 17-8 at the end of the first quarter.  The Dogs defense then completely shut down IC Prep by allowing only 10 points the rest of the game to contribute to a 41-27 win.  Jack Stivers led the team with 16 points and 4 steals.   Jamir Truman scored a career high of 15 points to go along with 5 rebounds. ​

Chicago Christian
The Sophomore team played suffocating defense and easily beat Chicago Christian 53-17.  Jack Stivers led the Dogs with 16 points and 9 rebounds.   Ryan Gaynor scored 9 points, Daniel Sessler scored 7 and had 4 boards, and Dylan Meehan scored 5 and pulled down 6 boards.  Luke Gentile led the team with 6 assists.

St. Joseph
The sophmores overcame a very slow start, but their defense kept them in the game, and they beat St. Joes 33-29.   Ryan Gaynor led the team with 9 points.  Jack Stivers had a nice all-around game with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.

St. Edwards
The sophomores jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back in a 52-30 win over St. Eds.  Dylan Meehan led the Dogs with 18 points.    Jack Stivers scored 11 and Joey Mieczkowski scored 9.   Jonathan Rehder-Swallow led the team with 9 rebounds and Luke Gentile had 6 assists.

Brother Rice
The ​sophomores beat Brother Rice 50-32.   After a close first quarter the Dogs outscored the Crusaders 20-1 in the second quarter.   Jack Stivers led the Dogs with 18 points.   Dylan Meehan scored 10 points and Dan Sessler added 7.   Luke Gentile scored 6 points and pulled down 8 rebounds, and Jordan Chapp led the team with 5 assists

Wheaton Academy
The Sophomores overcame a couple of scoring droughts to beat Wheaton Acad. 51-44.   Dan Sessler lead a very balanced scoring attack with 11 points.  Dylan Meehan had 8 points and 4 rebounds.   Ryan Gaynor scored 8 and Jordan Chapp added 7.   Luke Gentile contributed 8 assists.

York and St. Laurence
The ​sophomores had 2 great comeback wins to claim the Championship at St. Laurence.   In the semis the Dogs beat York 45-38.   York led 31-22 after 3 quarters, but the fourth quarter was all RB.  Terrific team defense and some timely shooting propelled the team to a great win.   Jack Stivers led the team with 12 points.  Dan Sessler scored 10 points.  Luke Gentile played a great all around game with 6 points, 6 rebounds and six assists.   Jordan Chapp and Ryan Gaynor each dropped in 6 points also.   

​In the Championship game the Bulldogs trailed St. Laurence 25-18 at the half.  However the 2nd half was all RB.   Terrific defensive pressure changed the tide of the game and the Bulldogs won 55-47.   Dan Sessler led the team with 14 points and Dylan Meehan and Jack Stivers scored 13 and 14 points respectively.

Nazareth 12/26/17
The Sophmore ​Team beat Nazareth 47-37 to open the St. Laurence Xmas Tourney.   Ryan Gaynor led the Dogs in scoring with 12 points.   Jack Stivers scored 11 points and Dylan Meehan scored 8.   Daniel Sessler led the team with 5 boards, and Luke Gentile and Jordan Chapp combined for 11 assists in the backcourt.

​Glenbard South 12/22/17
The sophomore's struggled to score and lost to Glenbard South 42-34.  Jack Stivers led the team with 9 points.  Dylan Meehan scored 7 points and pulled down 9 rebounds and Jordan Chapp also scored 7 points.  

Fenton 12/19/17
The Sophs struggled to score early on against Fenton, but had a huge second half to win 41-17.   Dan Sessler scored 12 points and had 7 rebounds.   Ryan Gaynor also scored 12 points.

Aurora Central Catholic 12/15/17
The Sophomores led by 19 points after 3 quarters and cruised to a 46-33 win over ACC to improve to 3-0 in conference.    Ryan Gaynor led the Dogs with 14 points.   Luke Gentile added 10 points and 4 assists.   Dylan Meehan pulled down 6 rebounds.  

Illiana Christian 12/8/17
The sophomores beat Illiana by the score of 51-41 to start the conference with 2 consecutive wins.   The Dogs made key shots and played terrific defense down the stretch to secure the win.   Ryan Gaynor led the team with 18 points.   Jack Stivers scored 13 points.  Dylan Meehan scored 7 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.   Dan Sessler contributed 7 points and Luke Gentile had 9 assists.  

IC PREP 12/5/17
The sophomores played a very good game, and beat IC 60-39.   The Dogs led from start to finish.  Ryan Gaynor led the team with 17 points, including 5 three-pointers.   Dylan Meehan continued his strong play with 14 points and 4 boards.   Luke Gentile played a great game and finished with 10 points and 10 assists.   Jack Stivers scored 8 points and pulled down 5 rebounds, and Dan Sessler added 7 points.  

OPRF 11-25-17
The Sophomore team lost in the Championship game 55-46 to OPRF.   The Dogs led by 2 at the half and by 5 after 3 quarters, but were outscored 20-6 in the final frame.   Dylan Meehan led the team with 11 points and Luke Gentile ​

St. Ignatius 11-24-17
The Bulldogs played a terrific defensive game and beat St. Ignatius 47-33.  The Dogs held the Wolfpack scoreless for four minutes in the 4th Quarter to take a lead by as many as 18 points.    Dan Sessler led the team with 16 points.  Julian Perez scored 8 points and had 4 steals.  Dylan Meehan led the team with 7 rebounds.   

Morton  11-22-17
The Sophomore Team played a solid opener and beat Morton 49-43.   The Bulldogs controlled the game from the start and led by as many at 13 points in the 4th quarter.   Dan Sessler led the team with 14 points and 7 rebounds.   Jordan Chapp added 10 points and 5 boards, Ryan Gaynor scored 9, and Luke Gentile scored 8 points and dished out 4 assists
