Phil McGovern-Assistant Varsity CoachCoach McGovern is in his 3rd year on the Bulldog basketball staff. Prior to his time at RB, he served as freshman coach at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago for 3 seasons. Coach McGovern spends a lot of time getting the team prepared with scouting and film work. He works primarily with the guards in practice. Coach McGovern was instrumental in leading the Bulldogs to their 28-5 record in 2018-19. Coach McGovern works at RB as an English teacher. He and his wife Bridget, have a son, Conor and live in Oak Lawn. |
