Coach Baldus is entering his fourth season as an assistant sophomore boy’s basketball coach at RB. Coach Baldus brings 20 years of coaching experience with him to the RBHS basketball program. Prior positions were Assistant Varsity Coach at Hinsdale Central High School 2012-2013, Head Boys Varsity Coach at West Chicago Community High School 2009-2012, Head Boys Sophomore / Assistant Varsity Coach at Willowbrook High School, 2005-2009 and Head Boys Sophomore / Assistant Varsity Coach Glenbard West High School, 1997-2005. Baldus began his teaching career at Krejci Academy, a school that's dedicated to students with autism or other emotional, behavioral or developmental disabilities. From there he spent time at Willowbrook High School and West Chicago Community High School.
The Bulldog sophomore teams are 58-14 during Coach Baldus's first three years in the program.
Coach Baldus was born in Grand Rapids, MI. He graduated from West Chicago Community High School and North Central College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in US History and Secondary Education. In addition he holds a masters degree, M.S. in Special Education from Northern Illinois University and Masters Degree, MEd, in Educational Leadership/Administration at Benedictine University.
Kevin is married and lives in Aurora, IL with his wife, Diane and daughter Evalyn.
